Whoever said that snow days were for kids was sorely mistaken. Receiving that, “school is canceled” call on Wednesday morning was still so exciting. I could barely go back to sleep because I had all those butterflies of knowing I did not have to get up and be an adult for the day. It was actually nice since I did have work to catch up on, but I also took advantage of the snow and decided to play and take pictures in it. Mind you, while I was taking these pictures I had roughly 15-20 children all bundled up and sledding staring at me. We were quickly in and out, but not before we took a minute to admire South City covered in fresh snow. And yes, I now know that heels in freezing snow was not the best idea.

xoxo,

Sarah
