I am such a sucker for grey V-neck sweaters. I literally have a (large) section in my closet dedicated to them. So, when I came home with this one the other day, my husband just rolled his eyes. In my defense, it was on major sale at J. Crew, so I felt justified. For me, I love having items that I can just throw on and be comfortable in since most of my day is spent with first graders and doing a lot of moving. Since I keep most of my wardrobe pretty neutral, I love bringing in pops of color with my accessories. These are easily interchangeable which makes me happy since I change my mind all the time!  Tassel accessories are my current obsession. I feel like I either have tassel earrings on or a necklace. This is definitely one of my favorite trends right now!

I am usually not one to wear much color, at all, but from time to time I like to throw on a something bright for a little pop. This scarf does just that. When I am wearing one bright piece, I prefer to keep everything else toned down. Scarfs are a go to staple in my closet for any season. They are great for the winter, spring, summer and fall. I love their versatility and the number of ways that you can wear them. Since I have many, I do not like spending a crazy amount of money on them. This also allows me to change them pretty frequently if they ever need to be tossed.  Paired with an oversized tee, flared denim, and a great bag and you’ve got yourself a fab weekend look!

This weekend in St. Louis was abnormally warm, so I took advantage and wore less layers than normal for this time of year. It was pretty exciting waking up, seeing the sun, and being able to open the windows for fresh air for a little bit.

While out and about on Saturday, I stopped by Nordstrom Rack to check out what they had. I never really have much luck with shoes there since I wear a 6.5 and they sell out in that size so quickly. As I was about to abandon all hope when these babies caught my eye. I have been hunting for the perfect pair of mules the past couple of months and have had zero luck. They are either too expensive, too old looking, or not comfortable. These are none of those! I feel like I could wear these all day and my feet would not even notice. The gold detailing on the back just adds that little extra pop. Two thumbs up, Calvin!

ASOS is hands down my favorite retailer. Over half of my closet easily comes from there. They have a way of making shopping easy and effortless, sometimes too easy ;). I always know that I can trust their sizing and their shipping is crazy fast. I have recently become a member of theirs for only $29 a year and it comes with unlimited 2 day shipping! That is well worth it alone. One piece of clothing that I absolutely hate shopping for is denim. Nothing ever seems to fit right or the length is completely off. As a result, I have turned to ASOS for all of my denim needs and they have never once failed me. Every single pair of jeans that I have ever purchased from there fit perfectly and is always under $100. You can’t beat that! This pair of jeans is probably my favorite. They are so soft and comfortable, plus I love the extra wide flare at the bottom. I paired mine with a casual sweater, platform sandals, and a fab pair of sunnies to tie this look together. How would you guys wear these jeans!?

Waterfall Jacket

I probably have roughly 4 leather jackets but this one is by far my favorite. The buckle details and waterfall structure take it to another level. Pairing it with a pair of ankle grazer jeans and a classic sweater make it a great go to. I have worn this outfit like 4 times over the past week simply because of its effortlessness. It is some a match up that I can just throw on and go.

Another part of this outfit that I would like to draw notice to are these flats. I am obsessed with the masculine color and structure of them, yet they still possess an unbelievable feminine feel. Lastly, please excuse my windblown hair in all of these pictures 🙂

Welcome to Crow + Bone! This is my first post and I am so excited to share with you guys in the adventure.

I am someone who likes to keep things quite simple with my outfits. Give me a pair of black jeans and a basic top, and I am good to go. Usually, I try to steer clear of white tops because I can be a little (okay, a lot) messy sometimes. Once I saw this ASOS top, my tune quickly changed. This top is absolutely beautiful AND very easy to wear. I wore it all day shopping and it kept me cool and comfy while roaming through the mass of crowds trying to hurry with their holiday stops. These jeans are also a go to for when I want to add a little edge to my outfit. They have rips all up and down the front and give that tough vibe without going overboard. Then I topped it off with the ever classic Valentino Rockstud flats. I would wear these with every outfit if I could. I mean, why wouldn’t you!?
