I think for the first time since 4th grade I can say that every piece of clothing that I am wearing is from Old Navy. Since I was a kid, I saw ON as the land of fleece pullovers and American Flag tees. This all shifted when I popped in last summer and my feelings changed. I feel like they are a company that has made huge strides in being more up to date with fashion. Plus, everything is such a steal. I walked in a couple days ago and I found this dress and fell in love. It was also ONLY $26! WHAT!? I honestly can’t remember the last time I purchased such a great dress for that price. They always have amazing sales too, which brings down the prices even more!

You also might notice that I have a special guest on the blog today! This is our 6 year old Akita/St. Bernard mix puppy (she will always be a pup to me). She is such a crazy photogenic pup so I figured it would be fun to have her in a few pictures, and I was correct. Well, until the end where all she wanted to do is eat. Hopefully, she will make more appearances in the future! Have a great week y’all!

This dress has been one of my favorites since last summer. It was about $12 at H&M and I just had to have it. During our honeymoon last summer to Ireland and England, I was able to throw this baby on with the promise of being comfortable all day. I love how I can wear simple sandals or wedges with it to give different looks. The color is also a go to for me since it is one that can be worn during all four seasons. These Burberry sandals have been in my closet for about 4 years. They have stood the test of time and have never failed me. This is why I can rationalize spending a bit more on shoes when I know they are going to last. Can’t wait to continue wearing this number over the summer!

I know that I have already proclaimed my love of a good t-shirt dress, so I won’t subject you to hearing all about it again. This combo of pieces however, has me so happy. Sundays is when Dan and I complete most of our errands for the week to come. I was able to wear this all day long! These shoes, which look as though they would be uncomfortable to wear for long periods, are incredible. It felt like I was wearing flats. I was so drawn to these shoes because of the major 90’s vibes they were giving me. I am so nostalgic for that time of my life. All I cared about was the Spice Girls, Lisa Frank, and secretly three way calling boys we had crushes on. It was a much simpler time and maybe this is my way of bringing that back. I strongly urge y’all to get them (also in black). GIRL POWER!

During the summer, a good t-shirt dress is my trusty side kick. I have this exact dress in three colors, ridiculous, I know. However, in my defense, ASOS makes one hell of a tee dress. Once I bought one, I had to go back for more. They are just so easy to throw on and be on your way, which I live for. When it comes to dressing in the summer heat, I love pieces that are loose, light, and easy to transfer from day to night. Throwing a denim jacket and converse on with it just add that little bit of edge to a pretty feminine item. I love mixing masculine and delicate together, which you could probably tell by now.

I am also addicted to Ray-Ban Aviators. I plead guilty to owning more than just a few a pairs. This pair is by far my favorite for the summer time. In every picture it looks like I am looking out to a beach, which sadly I am not. They are great for every face shape and come in countless colors!

I am such a sucker for anything flowy and from ASOS. I have always been drawn to pieces that are easy to just throw on and go. When I came across this cardigan, I knew that I had to have it. The stripes also add a fun touch to a pretty basic item. I decided to pair it with my absolute favorite pair of flared jeans and platform sandals. I loved how it had a very 70s feel to it. Since I am the product of hippie parents, it’s in my blood 🙂 . Plus, literally no one looks bad in flared jeans. They do so much for short, thicker legs and that’s why I love them!

I love a good statement accessory and this necklace is everything. I was kind of nervous when I ordered it because I never go for anything this large, but I fell in love immediately. I have been chomping at the bit to wear this and I have been waiting for the right outfit, this was it. There was just something about taking a pretty basic outfit and pairing it with this necklace that made me so excited. I can’t wait to wear this with some great t-shirt dresses when the weather warms up! How would you wear this amazing statement necklace?

Black & white are a tried and true team that I just can’t seem to quite. I love wearing it different ways to different occasions. For me, it allows me to be comfortable and confident in what I have on. I love bright colors, yet I just do not wear them, like ever. Nothing makes me feel better or more myself than a black pair of distressed denim, white tee, and leather jacket. It gives me that Sandra Dee feel like at the end of Grease wear she is completely transformed just by throwing on an all black outfit. It’s just that little boost that we all need time to time. T-shirt dresses are a staple in my closet and this season I have been wearing them all the time. It is so easy to transition them to the cold weather with boots and chic coats. I am a huge fan of making my pieces work for many seasons and this dress is one of them. I ordered it from Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and have been chomping at the bit to wear it. This dress is made from sweat shirt material, which made my heart so happy. So not only is it comfy, but it works for fall, winter, and spring. Also, it is easy to transition it from day to night with just a quick change of a few accessories. I can already tell that this dress is going to be on major repeat this season and next!

Dan and I have never been the couple that goes big for Valentine’s Day. We are not a very mushy pair and prefer the little things. However, since this is our first year as a married couple, we have decided to at least to something small. This is huge for us. What this really means is that we will probably stay home, order pizza, and drink champagne. I would honestly be completely thrilled for those to be our plans for the evening!

When we were in London over the summer for our honeymoon, I of course took advantage of all the shopping. One of my favorite spots to always stop at when in London is Selfridge’s. I was in the dressing room for probably an hour and left with 5 too many pieces. This dress was my favorite item that I purchased. The color, silhouette, and neck line are everything. When it was warmer out, I easily wore this dress two times a week. I loved it so much that I ended up ordering it in black when we got home. I can’t wait for spring and summer so I can bust this lovely out of my closet once again.

I am drawn more to accessories than I am to clothes, I’ve been that way ever since I can remember. I truly believe that an accessory can elevate any outfit if it fits and this hat does that exactly. Hats are not my usual go to piece, but this one had me changing my tune. I love wearing it with a very minimal outfit just to give that extra casual vibe. I was drawn to this hat in particular because it was very similar to one that I had been eyeing for months that was over $300 and I managed to snag one for under $40! It’s a great piece  to just throw on to add that extra pop to your outfit or even just to cover up your bedhead.
